For many reasons I cannot be a skateboarder. For starters, I lack the basic infrastructure. I do not own a skateboard nor do I own any pads. I also don’t have great balance when it comes to skating. And even if I mastered the whole balance thing, I don’t think that I have the courage to try any noteworthy tricks. I tend to live a pretty risk averse lifestyle, all things considered.
I cannot be a skateboarder because I do not own any baggy pants or any shoes with worn down soles. I do not know of any good dive bars in the area that we can hit after our skating session, if that’s even what they’re still colloquially called.
Above all else, though, I cannot be a skateboarder because before attempting any trick, big or small, I’d constantly be like “Wait wait wait wait… watch this one,” something I’ve never heard a skateboarder, or anyone cool for that matter, say before.
Skateboarders do not ask for attention the way that I do; they command attention by doing reckless things, and for that, I commend skateboarders and one day hope to be like them.
Are you saying you dont command attention for reckless things mr watch me bike across the country alone
