Tragic: Another Child Dead After Being Given An Automobile By Kars4Kids

When will they stop this senseless campaign?

For years, the people at Kars4Kids have been making the streets a much more dangerous place for drivers and pedestrians alike by giving away old, beat-up cars to our country’s youth. This week, the company’s foolish actions have claimed yet another life. 

Poor little George Morrison from Western Kentucky was just 5 years old when representatives from Kars4Kids knocked on his door with a used 2004 Nissan Xterra. Needless to say, George was over the moon about his new car, and immediately wanted to take it for a spin. Not even 2 minutes into his first drive, presumably headed to a local frozen yogurt shop that he frequented with his parents, George crashed the Xterra into an oak tree. George and the car were totaled in the accident.

How many more children have to meet this same fate before the people at Kars4Kids stop haphazardly distributing vehicles to children around our country? 10? 20? 80? I, for one, believe that cars should be for adults– not kids! 

RIP little George, enjoy the 16 Handles in Heaven.
