RuPaul Is STRAIGHT, Speculates The New York Times
New York Times editor Anna Marks, who has written two controversial op-eds calling into question the sexuality of megastars Harry Styles and Taylor Swift, is back at it again! This time, she has called out RuPaul, the trailblazing LGBTQ+ icon who has inspired and empowered generations of queer people through years of advocacy and increasing mainstream visibility to things like drag culture.
Marks insists that RuPaul, like Taylor Swift, is sending secret messages through his work about his sexuality. Only unlike Taylor, RuPaul is trying to signal that he is actually a straight man, trapped by the societal pressures of homosexuality!
According to Marks, inside of the RuPaul there is a boob loving, chili dog eating, fantasy football obsessed man with no decorations on his walls just yearning to be free.
Thank you for the article, Anna! Very interesting stuff.
Context, if needed:
Anna Marks recently wrote a controversial op-ed in the New York Times about how she thinks that Taylor Swift is queer, despite Taylor Swift publicly stating numerous times that she is not. The article has called into question the fact that journalists, and perhaps society as a whole, knows no bounds when discussing the personal lives of superstars like Swift.
