The voyages across the Atlantic Ocean were incredibly treacherous for immigrants. Oftentimes, the Carnival Cruise ships that were carrying hundreds of travelers would be forced to close the waterslides and pools so that people could spend more time in their rooms practicing their tricks in order to impress the Ellis Island immigration people.
