My Thoughts on the Rising Inflation Levels in the United States
Okay now that all of the finance nerds are here, I really need some topics cleared up about your field. What even is an ‘analyst’? What are you guys analyzing and why does it take so many of you to do the analysis? “We’re analyzing markets,” you’ll probably say. What is a market? Who decides the prices of stocks? Is it some mythical spirit that sometimes has good days which causes the Dow Jones (is that a person, by the way? Can I meet Dow Jones to ask him some finance related questions?) to go up and sometimes the mythical spirit gets upset because it’s struggling with menstrual cramps or something like that and then the stocks go down like in 2008? Am I on the right track here? What is a ‘consultant’? Who are you consulting and why can’t the companies that hire you just think for themselves? Why can’t I just screenshot an NFT? Why do you guys love vests so much? Vests are weird; they only keep the center of your body warm even though everyone knows that the extremities are always the first things to get cold.
Anyways, let me know if any of you can help sort out some of these questions for me; I’d really appreciate it. Good luck with the inflation stuff; I hope that you guys are able to stop it (or increase it, depending on whether it’s a good or bad thing).
